Chpt. 8 Lighting

OMG! after reading this i got some really cool ideas! I want to do neon lighting with black lights and glass blowing! how sick! i once saw a Chihuly installation with neon but i think i can do better!
Tommorrow i leave for mexico! I am going to be visiting Vidro Saplando down there! so pumped for mexican glass blowing! Check THIS S^*#

Chpt. 7 Texture

After reading this chapter i realized that maybe i need to add more texture to some of my pieces. Often i work in glass and sometimes i think that texture would take away from the beauty of the piece, but now that i think about it i havent really tryed texture with glass so i plan to in the very near future.

I want to do a few pieces on scarification like this!

Chpt. 5 SHAPING SPACE

After reading this chapter i am once again remind of scale. I want to do large scale pieces that are huge and cost alot of money! Therefore you should scroll down and donate to stickly glass/art. Do it!

Chpt. 4 FORM

After reading this chapter i think that alot of my art has positive form and maybe i need to work on negative form. Im very excited to install my chandelier thats finally complete! wooohooo 4 months in the works!

Chpt. 3 ORGANIZING PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN

After reading this section i realised a few things that i can work on to make my pieces even stronger; Repition, Variety, Rythm, and Balance. Not to mention craftsman ship which i feel kicks every artists ass everyonce and a while.

I could not agree more that three demensional design looses alot when its viewed as a photo! I think that we are at sum what of a disadvantage in the fact that we will be graded on photos and not our actual work!
